I should have bought this backpack years ago. It's the most comfortable and versatile backpack I have ever used. Plus it's waterproof. What more could you want?
After a lot of research, the Commuter Backpack was the best product on the market that meets the personal item dimension requirements for fitting under an airplane seat.
I purchased this backpack as a complement to my carry-on suitcase for use on a three week round the world trip from which I just returned. My goal was to not check in any luggage. I used my suitcase for clothing, etc and used the Commuter Backpack for all my electronic gear, paperwork, and random small items.
For the most part, the assorted pockets worked real well, There were a few bulkier items that were a bit of a challenge to find the proper pocket. I wish the front two pockets were a little deeper. I used the upper one for stashing items from my pant pockets before going through TSA/airport security. With bigger items like my cell phone, passport and wallet, the upper front pocket was close to full. The lower one was not deep enough for my travel needs.
Now that I am done with the trip, I will use this backpack for its intended purpose. The one day a week that I work in the office and need to bring my gear with me.

It has worked great overall the straps slip a little but nothing that has been an issue only noticeable when taking on and off. I adjust once it is on and it will hold until I take it off. Fits my computer in the dedicated pocket and a lot of other items in all of the compartments available.
